Bellway Homes Wales has launched its first properties at Regent’s Walk, the first phase of development at Jubilee Park, in Rogerstone.
Jubilee Park is a new development just three miles from Newport city centre. Regenerating the site of an old aluminium factory, once complete it will see 1,000 new homes, a health and leisure park, community facilities, landscaped open spaces and a new primary school.
The first phase will see a total of 278 homes built, by different developers, with Bellway Homes constructing 134 homes. Potential homeowners will be able to buy two, three and four-bedroom properties starting from £149,995 making the site ideal for both first-time buyers and families.
Conveniently located close to the M4, the development is ideally positioned for easy commuter access.
Each home will also be fitted out to a high standard with open-plan living space incorporated where possible, with the majority of homes also benefitting from surrounding green spaces.
Billie Oaten, sales director for Bellway Homes Wales, said: “Jubilee Park is attracting a lot of interest from prospective buyers and we have already sold properties off plan.
“We are pleased to be able to market the first homes on such an exciting new development for Newport. Rogerstone is one of the city’s premium suburbs and our homes there will benefit from a range of amenities including the new destination retail and leisure space, Friars Walk.”
The site’s two show homes are now also open to visitors.
The Wroughton is a large four-bedroom detached home with open plan kitchen – a separate dining room and a spacious family area with French doors to the rear garden.
The first floor landing leads to the master bedroom with en-suite, second double bedroom with en-suite, two further double bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The second show home is the Woodcote, a four-bedroom, detached home with garage. The ground floor comprises an entrance hallway, downstairs cloakroom, living room with window overlooking the front garden, open plan fitted kitchen/dining area with French doors to rear garden.
The first floor landing leads to the master bedroom with en-suite, second double bedroom, two further single bedrooms and family bathroom. Both show homes are fitted with conservatories.
The show homes are furnished in completely alternative styles offering visitors different ideas on interior design. The Wroughton has been styled using earth tones and a neutral palette creating a contemporary chic feel. In contrast the Woodcote uses fresher tones focusing on calmer greens matched with grey.
The contemporary homes will sit alongside a new primary school, shops, picturesque open spaces and play areas. Further attractions include Tredegar House and country gardens, as well as the rolling Welsh countryside.
