Newport’s newest tanning salon opened its doors in a grand opening event on Saturday, December 8, with the public and guests being treated to a tour of the new salon, introductory prices and a goody bag, making it Voice’s Salon of the Month for January.
Local couple and business entrepreneurs, Sarah Jane and Martyn Pugh, recently took over the Tanning Studio, situated on Caerleon Road in a bid to make it the most highly sought-after tanning salon around – this is the third business venture for the couple, who also own Forever Bows and Newport Accident Repair Centre, which are both located on Corporation Road.
After a complete refurbishment that lasted four weeks, Sarah and Martyn have spared no expense in purchasing the latest state-of-the-art sunbed equipment for the salon, including bringing in the renowned brand of Ergoline sunbeds, available in both lie down and stand up versions.
These brand-new sunbeds feature the highest grade UV lamps and facial tanners, allowing customers to achieve a perfect all-round tan.
With comfort in mind the sunbeds feature a added headrest and a water spray cooling system with adjustable ventilation nozzles for the head and body ensure a relaxing tanning session. The well-arranged soft touch control panel lets you adjust all the tanning functions to suit individual requirements.
“We have done extensive research to ensure the Tanning Studio is the market leading salon in Newport,” said Sarah.
“Since opening the salon the feedback we have received from our customers has been exceptional with a one hundred per cent customer satisfaction rate based on the new salon look, cleanliness and tanning results,” added Martyn.
“We have really thought about the little touches that will set us ahead in the industry, including having complimentary face wipes and deodorants available in each cubicle and displaying a sign to show each customer that the sunbed has been fully sanitised by a member of our team after every use,” added Sarah.
“Martyn and I would like to thank everyone for their continued support, and we welcome past, current and future customers to probably the best tanning salon in Newport!”
