Overlooking the largest castle in Wales and the second largest in Europe, this family run restaurant offers a truly breath-taking view for the ultimate dining experience in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Its Mediterranean cuisine caters for a wide range of tastes, ranging from tapas to pasta, to pizza and steaks, and an extensive vegan menu.
For lunch, diners can take advantage of a reasonably priced meal deal where you can get two-courses for £9.95.
Options from this menu include pizza margarita, tagliatelle Bolognese, Mediterranean vegetable or meat lasagne, chicken thigh with sweet pepper in a white wine sauce and a 5oz sirloin steak to name but a few. As well as the vegan menu, there’s also a separate Welsh themed menu, with dishes being created from the finest locally sourced Welsh ingredients.
Lunch is served Monday to Saturday from 11:30am until 2.30pm.
The evening a la carte menu offers a selection of anti-pasti and pasta dishes, pizza and options from the grill, with its steaks and hanging kebab skewers being a popular choice with its regulars. The a la carte menu is available from 6pm until 10pm, Monday to Saturday. Tapas is available during both lunch and evening dinner, with small plates individually priced from £2.95. Children can also enjoy a special meal deal of three-course for £7.95 any time of the day, with the choice of pizza or pasta as their main dish.
Sunday lunch is another firm favourite with its regulars, where diners are offered a delicious traditional roast, priced from £9.95 for one course. Choose from a variety of roast meats each week.
Booking is preferred for Sunday lunch, as well as busy periods during weekends.
Throughout the week there are additional daily offers such as Tapas Tuesday, where you can get any three tapas dishes and a glass of house wine for £9.95.
The Casa Mia bar is well-stocked, serving a wide range of cocktails, wines and spirits, so you can enjoy a drink before and after you dine.
There’s live music every Thursday, with resident favourite Rio Scibona performing on the first Thursday of every month with his diverse range of vocal talents ranging from opera to pop.
For Easter Sunday, April 21, Casa Mia will host a very special party with live music and hot and cold buffet, priced at £15 for adults and £7.95 for children – it’s happy hour all night on cocktails two for £10.
