Run and owned by Shaun Barnsley, who successfully managed the venue before taking over in December, he and his team offer a very warm welcome to everyone who visits.
This family-friendly venue is well-known throughout the area for its fantastic food offering, where all dishes are made using the finest and freshest produce within a five-mile radius. Currently ranked as the Number 3 restaurant in Chepstow on TripAdvisor, with a certificate of excellence for service from The Restaurant Guru, it is especially renowned for its homemade puff pastry pies, which are handmade from scratch with meticulous love and care.
Every lunchtime, diners can take advantage of a fantastic meal deal, where you can get two courses for just £10. This money-saving deal is available Monday to Friday from noon until 4pm.
In the evening, an extensive menu is offered, with dishes inspired by the fresh seasonal produce that is available from the nearby farms and food producers. Signature dishes include belly pork, chicken madeira, beef, mushroom and Guiness parcel pie, and its impressive steak tower.
There are additionally options for vegans and vegetarians, with at least five different dishes available every day, such as a vegan stew, nut roast and homemade curry.
As well as the lunchtime offer, there are more meal deals available in the evening, such as any two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30 every Wednesday. On Monday it is curry night, and on Tuesday you can enjoy homemade pie and chips for £8.95.
Spend some quality time at The Millers Arms this Sunday by indulging in a traditional home-cooked Sunday roast. There is a wide range of succulent roasts to choose from, including turkey, beef, lamb, and pork. Sunday lunch is priced from £8.95 for one course, and includes two vegetarian and vegan options, and also a fish dish. Booking is well advised.
Bookings are being taken for Mothering Sunday (no extra charge), booking adviseable and Easter Sunday, which will be served in two sittings – noon until 2.15pm and from 2.30 until 4pm. There will also be a treasure hunt on the bank holiday Monday. Check the Facebook page for more details.
